Hand-signed and dated on the lower right. The state of preservation of the artwork is good.

Jean-Raymond Delpech (1916-1988) was a French painter, engraver, and illustrator, who was mostly influenced by the countryside landscape and culture of his childhood. Delpech studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris and was awarded the first prize of Rome in engraving intaglio in 1948, gaining much success in Italy. He also produced postage stamps, illustrations for books and magazines, theater sets (for Dullin), medals, paintings, and even stained glasses. From 1944 to 2004 his works were showcased in numerous exhibitions, both individual and collective.
