The artwork represents the historical scenery of Carrying the Cross expressed through bright and vivid colors,the redish figure in the front and two others in brownish colors, the artist precisely shows the heaviness of the cross on their shoulder and its difficulty. Jean-Raym Delpech (1988-1916) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator, who is most influenced by the country of his childhood. he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. He won his first prize in Rome in engraving intaglio in 1948, then gained much success in Italy.
