City 5

City 5  is a beautiful mixed-media painting on canvas (chalk, acrylic, and tempera) realized by the Italian artist  Anna Maria Caboni  in 2019.

The artwork is  hand-signed  and  hand-dated  "AMC 19" by the artist in white marker pen on the lower left corner. In excellent conditions.

This original painting was realized with an interesting  technique : a layer of acrylic and tempera paint was applied on dried chalk, which was then scraped off with sandpaper. The final result is an outstanding  materic  artwork representing a city immersed in the darkness suspended between the sky and the sea, revealing their mysteries.

The inimitable fineness of this artwork makes it the ideal art piece to hang on your house walls!
