Venus De Milo
Venus De Milo is an original Carrara marble sculpture realized by a French sculpture manufacture in 1820.
The beautiful sculpture represents a copy of the famous Venus De Milo, the ancient statue commonly thought to represent Aphrodite, now in Paris at the Louvre Museum. It was carved from marble by Alexandros, a sculptor of Antioch on the Maeander River about 150 BCE.
