Our specimen represents four people kneeling on the ground waiting for the judge's judgment (he is visible in the central panel). Each figure is accompanied by an ideogram, the names of Osame and Azahira are readable.
In very good conditions.
The whole artwork represents a scene in court. The main character of the scene is the samurai Aoto Fujitsuna, named " Hikitsukesyu" by the Houjo family, that is, samurai of the level side called to preside over the court. He was known for being a very humble man who knew how to listen to people's voice. Indeed, an episode was dedicated to him in the kabuki show called Taiheiki.
