Mino Maccari (Siena, 1898 - Roma, 1989) has been a popular artist and engraver; he produced a lot of artworks with different graphic techniques. He exhibited in important international art exhibitions in the sector of art and graphics. In 1959 he became the director of Academy of Fine Arts in Rome; in 1963 he won Antonio Feltrinelli's prize for painting and became president of San Luca Academy.
