Two beautiful xylographs showing two different views of the french Capital.
Good conditions, with some small visible stains. The original plates are mounted on a cardboard passepartout (34 x 43.7 cm).

Auguste Lepère ( 1849-1918) was an etcher and wood-engraver; pupil of Rude and Burn Smeeton. He later taught Lucien Pissaro and with Pierre Gusman, helped to found the Société des Graveurs sur Bois, 1897.
