Self-portrait is an original etching realized by Giuseppe Viviani (1931).
In 1983 a 100-piece edition was made, all signed by the widow of the artist Signora Eralda Benso Viviani, like this one.
The picture is in very good conditions and mounted on a white cardboard (50x35).
Giuseppe Viviani was an Italian painter and engraver, especially in the recording he achieved exceptional results, among the greatest of the Italian twentieth century transforming into original images his personal vision of the world.
Viviani reached fame only after the Second World War: it was 1948 when he was assigned the chair of engraving at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, a chair that had already been covered by Giovanni Fattori.
