Portrait is an original colored pastel drawing artwork applied cardboard realized by Leo Guida in 1967.
Hand-signed in pencil and on the lower right.
The state of preservation is good except for some foxings along the margins.
The artwork represents a portrait of a kid in profile. the artwork is depicted skillfully through confident strokes, the artwork characterized by a well-defined choice of colors and shapes, demonstrated in a well-balanced composition by harmonious colors. Leo Guida: Artist sensitive to current issues, artistic movements and historical techniques, Leo Guida has been able to weave a productive interview on art and the function of the artist with many generations of young people during his activity. He was a teacher at the Liceo Artistico di Latina from 1969 to 1985, and trained many of the artists who today characterize the Italian cultural landscape. Copious was his production of graphic works in which Guida showed all his talent for the techniques of chalcography, etching, aquatint and burin etc.
