Male Portrait
Male portrait is a marvelous etching on ivory-colored paper presumably made by a Mannerist artist of the XVII century.
This original print, with the inscription " 932. b. " on the upper right corner, has a beautiful hatching and interweaving of lines that enhance the representation of the male subject in profile.
From his posture, hair, nose, and beard, we can identify the silhouette of Michelangelo and recognize this precious artwork as a tribute to the great artist of the Renaissance.
In good conditions, with a visible spot on the lower edge, evident traces of restoration near the ink discolorations.
White passepartout included: 49 x 34 cm.
