Lunch Time
Lunch Time is a superb original watercolored drawing on paper, realized in the middle of the XX century by the Italian artist Mino Maccari (Siena, 1898 - Rome, 1989).
Signed in blue pencil on the lower left margin.
Except for minor defects and little rips on the edges, the original sheet glued on a white cardboard (54.5 x 74 cm) is in excellent conditions.
An amazing drawing to keep jealously and admire every day at home!

A beautiful original drawing realized in charcoal and watercolor with the typical satiric taste and with the incredible touch of the talented and caustic illustrator of the Italian newspaper "Il Selvaggio ", with full mastery of the artistic technique, representing an elegant man lying down on a green sofa waiting for lunch, served by four quick waiters, yet the man seems dying with a cadaverous face.
