Hand-signed  and dated in pencil on the lower right corner:  Guelfo 78 . Numbered and titled by the artist on the lower left corner in pencil:  16/90 Palleta, poeta lunare.

Edition of 90 prints. The dry label is present on the lower right corner and the dry label in present on the lower left corner.

Lunar Poet is an excellent work depicting a colored figure on a green background. The work has been realized by the Italian artist  Guelfo Bianchini ( Ancona 1937). Born in Fabriano in 1937, he lives and works in Rome, where he did his artistic studies. He has participated in international shows and collaborated with world-renowned artists such as Bartolini, De Chirico, Cocteau, Oskar Kokoschka and Marc Chagall. After a first experience in "living drawing" and in "advertising drawing" he devoted himself only to painting which he discovered as an autodidact. In 1960 he took interest in the human figure especially in the woman one, and he went on developing it for some years.
