Albrecht Dürer, German painter, engraver, mathematician, and essayist. Son of a Hungarian, he is considered the greatest exponent of German Renaissance painting. In Venice, the artist came into contact with Neoplatonic environments. Such circles are assumed to have raised his character towards esoteric aggregation. there are evident hermetic symbols in his artworks, he combined Renaissance perspective and proportions with a typically Nordic taste for realism in detail.
