Jugendstil Silver-Plated Brass Centerpiece

Jugendstil Silver-Plated Brass Centrepiece is an original decorative set realized in the 1920s/1930s.

Silver-plated brass. Realized by WMF. Made in Germany. The WMF label is impressed on the base. The set includes: a tray (cm 43.5), a coffee pot (cm 18), a sugar bowl, and a cream bowl. All the pieces are realized with silver-plate brass and the decoration is a bee nest. The shape of the handles are curly and a profiled knob on the lid. The tray is oval with an open worked handle and pearl edge.

Very good conditions. 

The work has been realized by  WMF  ( Würtemburgische Machin Fabrik AG ), originally founded in 1853 in Geislingen an der Steige, Germany.  In 1880 there was an amalgamation of Straub & Sohn and A Ritter & Co. and the factory became famous for domestic and art metalware with an appropriate change of name to Würtemburgische Metallwaren Fabrik AG.
