From a suite of 52 plates titled " Modes et Manières du Jour à Paris à la fin du 18e siècle et au commencement du 19e siècle".
On the top the inscription: Modes &c. N° 46. " ; "Flor. An 9" ; under the engraved image "Elle le boude. / Chapeau ovale... Voile froncé.)".
Describing the female fashion of the beginning of XIX century, our specimen is in excellent condition with vivid colors, except for a light foxing and yellowing of the paper at the edge due by the time.
Including a cardboard passepartout: cm 25 x 19.
One copy is preserved at the Musée Carnavalet, Histoire de Paris.
