The plate belongs to the Third Edition published in 1868 by the Calcografia National for the Real Academia. The set includes 80 numbered and titled works. Etching number 40. Titled on the lower margin "¿De qué mal morirá?" (What's going to happen?).
Perfect conditions. On the left margin, there are several punctures indicating the former presence of an original seam.

A scene that makes us reflect upon the condition of poor people during the Spanish court of the XVIII century. With this etching, the artist wished to show the ignorance of certain doctors and scholars of the time. The main figure is a donkey visiting a patient lying in bed.
