José Salomé Pina was a renowned Mexican painter, professor at the San Carlos Academy. Salomé Pina addresses the director of the Royal Fine Arts Academy for: "...une permission pour faire quelques esquisses dans les Galeries de l'Academie Royalle des Beaux Arts...".
