Hand-signed  in pencil and in italics on the lower right margin.  Numbered  in pencil and in Roman numerals.

Title engraved on plate and on the reverse, at the center of the higher margin.

This is one of thirty amazing artist proofs, representing a Mexican scarab, quoting the big Italian master engraver  Luigi Bartolini .

In excellent conditions.

In this way, the artist wants to connect himself to the Italian graphic tradition, and he demonstrated to be not only an illustrator but also a master engraver.
