Musik-Foot is a wonderful print suite realized by the Surrealist artist Sebastián Matta (Santiago de Chile, 1911 - Civitavecchia, 2002).
This volume contains eight silk-screened drawings closed like a book. These eight original prints on a unique sheet form in total a single lithograph 5 meters and 22 centimeters long. Two prints are not on the same sheet, and are printed on rice paper, numbered and hand-signed in pencil .
From an edition of 100 copies , our specimen is numbered in pencil and in Arabic numerals on the lower margin.
Year of production 1990, coinciding with the World Cup in Italy.
Published in the catalog of the publisher G. Allegri - printer of the Bezuga Firenze, and signed in pencil by Matta.
Excellent state of preservation: as good as new! The hardcover is made of white fabric with serigraph and geometries realized with the collage, the only defect is some light stains and dust on the cover.
A really precious and joyful print suite realized by one of the biggest signatures of Surrealism, absolutely to collect!
