Original woodcut on paper. Signed: Tomikichiro. Publisher: Uchida. From a series with views in and around Kyoto, the sheet "Hirosawa ike haru kasumi" (Fog at Hirosawa Lake in spring).

Excellent impression with blind embossing (White bridge shadow, full moon), gofun (Blossoming cherry tree and petals on water surface), very fine bokashi in sky and mountain, slightly yellowed, yellowed back.

Tomikichiro Tokuriki (March 22, 1902,  Kyoto - 1999) was the first teacher of the young Tomikichiro was his grandfather. Later he entered the Kyoto School of Arts and Crafts with a two-year preparatory class and four years of regular training, and later a three year training at the Kyoto College of Art. He graduated from Kyoto Art College in 1923.
