Una lettera autografa firmata da Antonio Pierfederici, indirizzata alla Contessa Pecci Blunt. Milano, 5 novembre 1965. Una pagina recto e verso, 17x20 cm, con busta da lettera con timbro postale. Perfetto stato.

Nel 1943, quando si iscrive al corso di recitazione presso l'Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica tra i suoi compagni c'era Vittorio Gassman, e inizia una carriera artistica che prosegue ininterrottamente sino alla fine dei suoi giorni. Al debutto fu salutato come una rivelazione nella parte del figlio ne "I parenti terribili" di Jean Cocteau, diretto da Luchino Visconti, un lavoro che fece scandalo e segnò una svolta per il nostro teatro. 

Del regista divenne uno degli attori preferiti, tanto che gli venne affidato il ruolo di Cherubino ne "Il matrimonio di Figaro" di Beaumarchais. Fu un protagonista ideale per "Il poverello" di Copeau, diretto da Orazio Costa, magnifico attor giovane nell' "Arlecchino" di Strehler, e un godibilissimo "Signor Bonaventura" con Sergio Tofano in un'edizione che girò il mondo. Numerose le altre sue prove eccellenti in "La morte di Danton" di Buchner al Piccolo, "I demoni" di Fabbri da Dostoewskij a Genova, "Amleto" di Bacchelli all' Olimpico di Vicenza, "Il potere e la gloria" di Greene a San Miniato.

Negli ultimi anni si era distinto in "La trilogia della villeggiatura" di Goldoni, diretto da Massimo Castri.

Antonio Pierfederici , friendly called Tonino Pierfederici (La Maddalena, 1919 - Rome, 1999

The Italian actor, born in La Maddalena, in Sardegna, Antonio Pierfederici graduated in law and then enrolled at the Silvio d'Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts. He started his acting career in 1943 and was mainly active on stage, getting his first personal critical success with his performance in Luchino Visconti's Terrible Relatives. At the debut, he was greeted as a revelation in the part of his son in Jean Cocteau's "Terrible Relatives", directed by Luchino Visconti, a work that scandalized and marked a turning point for our theater. The director became one of the favorite actors, so much that he was entrusted with the role of Cherubino in "The Wedding of Figaro" by Beaumarchais. One of the most favorite actors of Visconti, Antonio Pierfederici also worked on stage with Giorgio Strehler and Orazio Costa, among others.

Countess Anna Laetitia Pecci- Blunt (Rome, 1885 - Marlia, 1971)

Best-known as "Mimì" Pecci-Blunt , the Italian noblewoman was an art collector, patron and  nephew of Pope Leo XIII. Extremely volcanic, she was very active in the cultural field, opening numerous lounges, galleries and theaters. In 1919 she married Cecil Blumenthal, later changed to Blunt, a wealthy Jewish banker from New York, heir to an important collection of nineteenth-century French painting. His Parisian and Roman salons was frequented by artists and intellectuals of the caliber of Salvador Dalì, Paul Valery, Poulenc, Paul Claudel, and Aldo Palazzeschi!
