Vintage Floor Lamp is an original design item realized by by Gianfranco Frattini for Relco Italia, Italy 1980s.

Adjustable light diffuser; brass details and cast iron base.

Gianfranco Frattini  (Padua, 1926 - Milan, 2004). He was an Italian architect and designer.   He is part of the generation that formed the Italian design movement in the late fifties and during the sixties.   Frattini graduated in Architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1953. He opened his own professional studio in Milan, after working in the studio of his teacher and mentor Gio Ponti.   His collaboration with Cesare Cassina for his homonymous company began in 1954, followed by collaborations with many other industrialists, such as Bernini, Arteluce, Acerbis, Fantoni, Artemide.   He was a member of the board of the Milan Triennale.   A great connoisseur of artisan wood, 
he forged a long and fruitful professional collaboration with the master craftsman from Bovisio Masciago (Milan), Pierluigi Ghianda.
