Autograph letter signed, not dated [postmarked 18 12 1954] by the French writer Francois Mauriac (Bordeaux, 1885 - Paris, 1970).
Francois Mauriac was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1952. Mauriac addresses a tender letter to his fellow writer Boris Boui¨eff (1925-1979) with good wishes for Christmas: “...Tous mes voeux affectueux pour vous cher Boris...”.
One page in fine condition. Envelope with autographed address included.
