George Washington Carver (Diamond, January 1, 1864 - Tuskegee, January 5, 1943) was an American researcher and agronomist educator; as such, he worked in the Department of Agriculture of the Tuskegee Institute [1] in Tuskegee, Alabama, teaching farming techniques for self-sufficiency to ex-slaves in the field.
