Pines on the Sea - SOLD

Pines on the Sea is an original Modern artwork realized in 1943 by Jean-raymond Delpech  (Hanoi, 1916 – 1988).

Good conditions and with very small needle holes on the lower right and left.

Excellent artwork on paper depicting an excellent marine landscape and its surrounding vegetation. The work is realized with very warm and soft colors that creates an interesting contrast and define the whole composition to create a very beautiful marine landscape. 

This work has been created by Jean Delpech (1916 – 1988). He was a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He designed and engraved ten stamps for the French Post Office between 1980 and 1988. His father was an architect. He studied at the Albert-Sarraut High School Hanoi (formerly Tonkin) (from 1926–1934) where he was a classmate of North Vietnamese general Võ Nguyên Giáp and Ph?m Van Ð?ng. After graduating, Delpech joined the School of Fine Arts in Hanoi, where he studied lacquering and painting.
