Original B/W etching on wove paper. The work is the sheet N. 98 from the series "156 Gravures". Limited edition series, numbered 18/50 on the lower left. Signed with stamp on the lower right and dated 29.3.71 on plate in reverse on the lower left. Edition of 50 specimens numbered in arab numbers and 15 artist's proofs numbered in roman numbers.

Pablo Picasso (Malaga, 1881 - Moujins, 1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet, and playwright who spent most of his adult life in France. As one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for the foundation of the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co-invention of collage, and the wide variety of styles that he helped to develop and explore.
