Excellent etching depicting a glimpse of the outskirts of Milan. The sky is characterized by diagonal sections and the main buildings are on the right and on the foreground. Along the avenue we see some walking characters.

This work has been realized by the Italian artist Alberto Salietti (Ravenna, 1892 - Chiavari, 1961). Salietti was an Italian painter. He attended the Brera Academy until 1914, where he met Cesare Tallone and Mentessi. After participating in the First World War, he exhibited from 1920 at the Venice Biennial (in 1942, receiving the Grand Prix for painting).
