On the bottom of the lithograph you find the titlt of the work "3° REGGIMENTO SVIZZERO ", alongside with the roles of the figures illustrated in it "SottoUfficiale in Gran tenuta - Ufficiale in gran tenuta ", the place and date to which it belongs "Napoli, 1854", finally also the author of the lithograph " A. Zezon Lit. " and the draftsman from whom it was taken " A. Di Lorenzo Dis. ".
Antonio Zezon (1803-1881): After a working period at the Ministry of War, he devoted himself to lithography and publishing. Little is know about his activity as a painter. In 1830 he partecipated in one of the exhibitions of the Royal Bourbon Museum with a view of the courtyard of the church of Santa Chiara. He is remembered as a lithographer for: The biographical and lithographic collection of the most illustrious men of every age and nation, dedicated to the Prince of Salerno (Naples 1835); The History of the Kingdom of Naples from the foundation of the Monarchy to the XIX century (1839); The Pictorial Museum of Pictures of the Royal Galleries of Europe (1840). Between 1850 and 1856, he created a work sold in installments on The uniforms of the Bourbon army and navy . It had the lithographic plant in the Royal Palace in Naples.
