Nude  is a gorgeous original lithograph realized by Guillaume Corneille in 1977. Hand signed  and dated in pencil on the lower right margin; edition of 100 prints. Perfect conditions.

It is an interesting representation of a female nude. Corneille is famous for the use of bright, expressionist colors and the female representations. In the composition, there is a lying woman and some coloured points on the background. On the right side, there is a yellow bird.

Guillaume Cornelis van Beverloo (1922 – 2010), was better known under his pseudonym Corneille, a Dutch artist. He studied art at the Academy of Art in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. He was one of the founders of the Reflex movement, also one of the founders of the Cobra movement, which has a great influence on Scandinavian art . The poetic of Corneille was strongly influenced by Miró and Klee. After the group dissolved in 1951, he moved to Paris and began collecting African art. These artifacts became evident in his works, which began to take on a more imaginative style, like landscapes seen from a bird's eye view, exotic birds and stylised forms. His work is also in the collection of the Centre Georges Pompidou.
