Eremita Camandolese is the title of a beautiful watercolour on ivory-colored paper by the old master  Michela De Vito in 1820 ca.

Hand-titled " Eremita Camandolese ", in black ink on the lower margin at the center. Excellent conditions.

This original old master artwork demonstrates the expert technical skills of the artist with its delicate contour lines and bright colors. The watercolor represents a frontally standing Camandolese hermit   with a long brown beard wearing a  long  white tunic with a hood. Only one hand of the hermit comes out from the robe, and it is pointing towards the small village at his feet on the right. The lights and shadows of the colors blend smoothly  with one another.
