This vintage poster was realized for a Belgian Spa , around 1900, by   Georges de Feure, a  French painter, set designer, and industrial art designer in the Symbolist and Art Nouveau styles. The print represents a woman from behind wearing a long and elegant orange dress and holding a fan. At the top, on the right, a small view of the façade of the famous thermal baths of   Liegeois.

By the 1890s, posters had taken center stage in the visual culture of the French capital. The Parisian billboards were the official posting places for advertising posters, becoming real ‘street galleries’, influencing the commercial success of both advertisers and artists designing the posters.
