Interesting apology letter of the vate poet, written because he would not attend the "shooting" for the "pose" portrait: the real specialty of Henri Le Lieure, always chasing cultured and noble persons to portray. Ostensibly, the photographic portrait of d'Annunzio would have been accompanied by some notes written by the poet himself and delivered to the photographer and reporter's cousin Ziegler.
" I have so many issues that I will not be able to pose today in your studio. Please forgive me. (...) I am busy the whole day, horribly (...) ".
